Toby is a very sweet dog, that takes a minute or two to warm up to you. If you have a treat or a tennis ball, you'll be instant friends. Toby knows the basic commands and has a very impressive recall and can be trusted off leash, once he is comfortable with you.
Toby is potty trained, loves to be brushed, will be ok for baths, he is getting used to getting his ears cleaned on a regular basis. In the short time, Toby has been at our Shelter he learned that he has an "off button" and can actually relax.
Toby is neutered, chipped, current on vaccines, dewormed and heartworm negative.
Toby needs a home that understands the breed and their needs and unfortunately I do not trust most people in the military, so I contacted Sally Mayes with Friends of Animals in Junction City, KS. We have been worked together several times before.
