The key to our success is the process we use for matching dogs to people and people to dogs. If you and your family are looking to bring a rescued dog into your home, we can help make that process a fun and life changing experience, for both humans and dogs alike.
Rescue Dogs come from a variety of places – from shelters, owner surrenders due to the economy and loss of jobs, owner health issues or even owner death, legal seizures, or commercial breeders. It’s really not important where they come from or why, it matters that they have a second chance at love and a furever family. If you are interested in adopting one (or more) of our dogs, please submit the ADOPTION APPLICATION below. We will contact you when a dog comes available matching your family needs. Our first priority is placing the right dog in the right home.
Our dogs are temporarily housed in pre-screened, loving foster homes while waiting their new forever home. They are also micro-chipped, groomed (if needed), and given a thorough professional veterinary exam to identify any health concerns or potential issues.
We appreciate you wanting to bring a dog or cat into your home. In order for us to find the right dog for you, please SUBMIT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION below.
We will call you within three (3) business days to review your application, then contact your references.
An adoption coordinator will schedule an in-home interview/safety check. All household members need to be present, including any current pets.
You will then receive an email from RMCR’s Adoption Director with the final status of your adoption application.
