Active, loves to be in the garden sunbathing, enjoys mealtimes, loves to cuddle on the sofa, has quickly learned basic commands from me, and some good behaviours/commands from a trainer. She is playful with her companion, Daisy, a 1 yr old Bichon Frise, but Poppy can become agressive and turn on Daisy. She enjoys a walk but cannot tolerate dogs encountered along the way, and barks and jumps at people in the garden. My husband has mobility issues, I've just had a heart attack, so taking Poppy for walks is not an easy task for me. Poppy flunked out of Camp BowWow's assessment, so we can't board her if an emergency arose, and I'm concerned that she could suddenly turn nasty with my 3.5 yr old grandson ... Poppy jumps on everyone -- she can do 3ft from a sitting position ... which worries my grandson. I believe she would benefit from being an only dog of someone with experience and energy to train her to good behaviour.
