Meet Lord Bergdorf Woofington ("Woofy")
Don't let the fancy name fool you—Woofy is as down-to-earth as they come! He is a thoroughly sweet, easygoing 10-year-old senior gent who wants nothing more than to be a cherished part of a family.
Woofy is well past the stage of chewing furniture or bouncing off the walls. He is not crate-trained because he simply doesn't need to be—he is the absolute perfect, respectful house guest.
The Heart of Woofy:
The Foster Mom's Shadow: Woofy is head-over-heels devoted to his foster mom and loves being right by her side.
Teen-Approved: He is a huge fan of your teenagers! Whether it's hanging out with your teen son or daughter, he adores older kids and brings an infectious, happy energy to the room.
Family Dynamic: While he loves his foster mom and the teenagers, Woofy has made it clear that he isn't a fan of the resident husband/men. He will do best in a home that matches his preferred fan club!
Dog & Play Compatibility: He gets along great with other dogs. He’s not a high-intensity player 24/7—he doesn't really wrestle or play fetch all the time. Instead, he enjoys a nice game of fetch when the mood strikes, mixed with happily roaming the yard with a canine buddy, going for walks, and soaking up the good life.
Medical & Health Update:
Woofy is officially fully healed from his large tumor removal surgery (which turned out to be just benign fatty tumors!).
Recovery Status: He has also recovered smoothly from a major dental procedure (including several multi-rooted extractions) and has his bright smile back!
Heart Health: He is managed on daily medication for a heart murmur, which keeps him feeling good, active, and ready for his daily strolls.
The Basics:
Manners: Fully potty-trained, spotless in the house, and a total dream on a leash. Neighborhood walks are relaxed and easy.
Vibe: Calm, affectionate, and low-drama, with a sweet spark that makes you smile.
The One Flaw: He will actively and unapologetically beg for whatever you're eating. You've been warned—those senior eyes are hard to say no to!
Ideal Home:
Woofy asks for very little out of life: a nice neighborhood walk, a yard to roam or occasionally chase a ball in, a canine buddy or two, and a solid couch snuggle with his favorite humans. He may be titled a lord, but he has easily become the king of our hearts!
