Lord Bergdodrf Woofington "Woofy' will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption. He is on medication for a heart murmur. He is scheduled on Sept. 2nd for a much needed dental and mass removals which appear to be just fatty tumors.
Don't let the fancy name fool you—Woofy is as down-to-earth as they come. He’s just a thoroughly sweet, easygoing 10-year-old senior guy who wants to be part of the family. Woofy is well past the stage of chewing furniture or bouncing off the walls. He genuinely loves everyone he meets: he’s great with kids, gets along fine with other dogs, and considers every person an immediate friend. He is not crate trained but is the perfect house guest.
The Basics:
Manners: Fully potty trained, clean in the house, and great on a leash. Walks are pleasant and easy.
Compatibility: Loves kids, dogs, and adults. Zero drama.
Vibe: Calm, affectionate, and low-key.
The One Flaw: He will actively beg for whatever you're eating. You've been warned.
Woofy asks for very little out of life: a good neighborhood stroll, a solid snuggle on the couch, and maybe a crumb if you happen to drop one. He begs for people food. He may be titled a lord, but he has easily become the king of our hearts!!!
Woofy's History: Woofy is said to light up a room with his energy and loves to play and nap. His prior owner said that he still has the same amount of energy as the day he got him in 2016. He LOVES going to play fetch with a ball. He's got the energy about him that lights up a room and makes you smile. He's great with kids, especially at fetching small toys over and over and over again. He likes to run. He's good with other dogs. He doesn't really wrestle or anything like some dogs like to do with each other, he likes just roaming around. He needs a home where he can get some exercise and and has a buddy or two.
