Jazzy is a very submissive prior breeder dog. She is learning to be an indoor dog after living in a kennel her entire life. She is very sweet and is building trust in humans. She is more trusting of women, but responds well to soft spoken or gentle men. She has shown no aggression to children or adults. Female dogs have been known to dominate her and get a bit rough with her, but she seems to do well with male dogs and non-dominant female dogs. She is learning to be a house dog and would do great with someone who takes the time to work with her and give her time to trust them. She does not like to be alone for too long. She loves treats and is learning to eat from a bowl. She can be held and cuddled, but is shy about coming to people on her own - like she isn't sure what their response will be. She snores while she sleeps so gets comfortable very quickly despite her lack of time with humans! Jazzy is making remarkable strides in a short period of time and will make someone a great companion once she is comfortable in your home and knows you love her. She responds well with praise and loving words.
she is scared of a crate so would need extra time to learn to crate train, she has been kept gated in the kitchen and does well with that. She just wants to know someone is there! She often looks at her reflection in the dishwasher and will lay next to it, I'm guessing that she thinks there is another dog there! She is getting better about seeking out her human and following her around the house. Walks well on a leash.
