Jazzy is cleared for adoption _ 3/25/2025
UPDATE 3/25/25: Jazzy is settling into her new foster home now that all her medical and surgeries are complete. Since she spent 6 years trapped in a breeder hellish environment, she will require someone who has the patience to continue to work with her to build her confidence, her emotional separation anxiety, and continuation of her house training. The vet is trying out a prescription to help "tighten up" her bladder so she doesn't have accidents because she had a serious UTI infection that was left untreated by the breeder for years! She also has ears that require daily cleaning because the breeder had left her ears infection and painful for many years as well. Jazzy is truly learning what "living a good life" can be like, and she is open to meeting her true love match and someone loving and patient who will help continue her training and care.
Jazzy is doing well assimilating into her foster home. She finally feels clean and cared for after six years living in breeder conditions that were not the greatest. Jazzy is struggling with ear infections and clearing up a urinary tract infection at this time and is scheduled for mammary tumor surgery in later March 2025. This little girl is a petite model Cocker and is very submissive. She has a lot of anxiety and cannot tolerate not being able to see her foster mom or dad in the same room with her. She will cry and whine until she sees you come back. So our little girl will need some special care and understanding to acclimate to her new home eventually. She does warm up to people relatively quickly and she loves treats! You are speaking her language with a soft yum-yum in your pocket. She like sto snuggle on the couch for TV watching, and she's learning to go to the door and cry when she needs to go out. She's made fantastic progress since January 18th. Stay tuned for more details coming soon after her next vet visit the week of March 15th.
