Gus is a sweet boy who loves being near his people. He does many things well, including riding in a car (short or long drives), going on walks, and following basic commands when food incentives are involved.
He loves going to the groomer and getting baths. He goes to daycare sometimes and does well there. He was brought in from a shelter when he was about six months old and had no training. He attended a three-week training session in 2023 and learned the basics (potty training, sit, come, leave it, kennel, etc.) He loves to loaf next to people. He is potty trained and uses a doggy door to let himself into the backyard. He sleeps in a crate at night. Gus would do best in a family that does not have children, as he gets startled by some kids and snaps at them in a frightening way.
