Goober came to us as a public drop off, severely matted and dirty. After passing his stray period with us and not having an owner forward, we went and moved him through our adoption process. Unfortunately, after being completely shaved and having some teeth removed during his neuter, Goober has shown some handling sensitivity towards staff and volunteers. We are unsure if this is behavior due to how matted he was and he is not just sensitive to the touch or if due to age he has other things happening.
