Ellie was neglected on the back deck of a family member's house for the first almost three years of her life. I rescued her in February to reunite her with her littermate, Daisy. The two were together, living on the deck with little human interaction the first year of their life, at which point I was able to rescue Daisy. It took me two more years to be able to secure the rescue of Ellie which I accomplished in February of this year. Ellie was left outside 24/7, summer and winter. She was so lonely and it was horrible. Since being reunited with her sister, they do everything together: sleep, eat, go to the bathroom simultaneously, and play. They do sometimes have sibling rivalry.
