This is a dual post for Trombone and Taborine.
Meet Trombone and Tamborine. They are a bonded duo ready to bring twice the love, laughter, and companionship into their forever home. These two foster dogs were found together as strays, and their bond is extra special. They are inseparable in the best way, each complementing the other’s personality and making daily life more joyful just by being themselves.
They are also a remarkably quiet pair—their foster mom has never even heard them bark. The only sounds they make are especially endearing. Trombone has the slightest, most gentle howl when he gets excited, and Tamborine lets out a happy little trill when she rolls around in the grass.
Trombone is impossible not to smile at. With his big, floppy ears framing his sweet, greying face, he looks like a gentle old soul—but don’t be fooled, he’s young at heart. He’s happy-go-lucky, always in a good mood, and genuinely up for anything.
Tamborine is a little shy at first but warms up once she feels safe. She loves to snuggle for a while before retreating to her favorite cozy spot, whether that’s a crate, under a table, or another little “cave” where she can relax and recharge.
When Trombone and Tamborine first arrived in foster care, they were not housebroken, but they’ve made great strides since then. They are now housetrained, except that Trombone continues to “mark” in the house. For that reason, Tommy will likely need to wear wraps in the long term as he “raises his leg” with some frequency.
Both dogs require daily medication:
Together, they are sweet, funny, deeply connected, and wonderfully gentle companions. They’re looking for a home that will cherish their bond and enjoy the heartwarming presence they bring every day.
