Berry gets along with everyone. She needs someone who will cuddle her a LOT and show her a ton of affection and belly rubs. She would do fantastic with children and is a great sleeping companion. Anyone who adopts her will find she is incredibly trusting and sweet. She is very food driven, so her new owner will need to obtain SO approved treats. Berry lacks confidence, but I feel this can be improved with regular training. She is extremely easy to train and did very well in her beginner training class. This will be Berry's third home. I really want this next home to be her forever family. She is an expensive dog and should go to a family who is completely prepared for the monthly costs and unexpected medical bills. She had bladder stones removed on 6/19. She has a hooded vulva, which may lead to her developing life long recurrent UTIs if not surgically fixed. If a family is willing to seek additional treatment for her hooded vulva, I feel this may prevent a lot of suffering for both Berry and her new owner. She is also an allergy-prone pet. She excessively licks her paws and genitals.
