Bio Update: Meet Brodey: part-time Cocker Spaniel, part-time bed hog, and full-time counter surfing professional. At 8 years old, Brodey has the same energy as "The Dude" and has perfected the art of being both totally sweet and totally chill. He’s quiet, absurdly affectionate, and considers himself a professional snuggle partner - though he will definitely claim your entire bed as his own. When he’s not busy charming everyone in the room, Brodey serves as a role model to his foster sister. He’s a wonderfully gentle, steady influence on her - right up until they form an elite heist unit to inspect the kitchen counters for rogue snacks.
Brodey is housetrained, great with other dogs, and loves a lazy stroll around the block. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key boy with a massive heart, a golden personality, and top-tier loyalty, Brodey is ready to steal your heart - and maybe your snacks.
Original Bio: Brodey is an adorable 8-year-old Cocker Spaniel with a heart as big as his floppy ears! He had recent cherry eye surgery on both eyes. This sweet boy loves everyone he meets, people, other dogs, and anyone willing to share a little love (or a treat!) Brodey's favorite things in life are simple: snuggling up with his people, enjoying a tasty snack (he really loves treats!), and heading outside for a quick potty break followed by a joyful roll in the grass. He's the perfect combination of playful and laid-back. At bedtime, Brodey is an excellent houseguest. He may let you know he's not thrilled about going into his kennel with a few minutes of barking, but he settles down quickly and sleeps peacefully through the night. Brodey is housetrained. When it comes to keeping those pearly white teeth sparkling, Brodey is a big fan of yak chews, duck hearts, and chicken heads. Enjoys a quick walk around the block, then curls up on the couch for an afternoon nap. One thing to know about this clever boy if you leave treats or food on the counter, he'll happily volunteer to help himself! He's currently working on keeping all four paws on the floor and resisting the temptation to counter surf. Brodey is also a star at the vet and is being groomed. His groomer couldn't stop complimenting him, saying he was amazing and tolerated being touched all over with ease. His veterinarian agrees, describing him as the perfect gentleman during his visits.
