Itsy Bits is very shy. She will let you pet her once she gets to know you, but will not allow strangers to pet her. She needs her sister Molly, and they often sleep in the same bed wrapped around one another. When you come home, she will get very excited and give a tiny howl of pleasure. When waiting to be fed, she literally jumps off the ground with joy. As long as she has a quiet home, her sister, and no excitable dogs around, she does well. She can become overexcited if there is another dog in the home that gets excited, so quiet dogs only. Once she accepts you, she will want to come in for a pet on your sofa or bed. She can be easily startled.. She is a small dog at under 20 lbs.
