Volunteer Information
Interested in helping support RMCR?
We are an active animal rescue in Colorado that is growing and expanding our network, so we are always in need of volunteers. If you think you would like to provide a safe and nurturing foster home for our Cocker Spaniels as they wait for their forever home, please compleate and submit an application (available below) and one of our board members will contact you for an interview. Since all of our Cocker Spaniels are in foster homes (we do not have a kennel or shelter facility), we are limited in the number of lives we save by the number of foster homes! If you are a foster home, we will provide the dog’s collar, leash and food (since we want them on a wheat-free kibble). We will pay for grooming and veterinary care IF the dog is taken to one of the businesses with which we have negotiated a discount and set up an account. We will provide you with a list of those businesses who have accounts with us.
In addition to qualified foster homes, we need volunteers who can help with:

- Application Processing
- Event Coordination
- Fund raising
- Behavior Assessment
- Public Relations
- Grant Writing
- Photography/Videography
- Volunteer Recruitment
- Writing & Editing
- Database Management
There is never a shortage of work to do or Cocker Spaniels to rescue, and there are even more opportunities than listed above. If you would like to contribute in any way, if you have a little or a lot of time that you could donate to Cocker Spaniels in need in Colorado, please complete and submit our volunteer or foster application.
