Nugget is an incredibly sweet and gentle young dog. He has a lot of energy and loves to play. Ironically, he's also perfectly happy to hang out in his kennel during the night and when we aren't around to keep an eye on him. He is a strong dog and needs leash work so walking him is not such a chore. He is just so happy to go on walks! Nugget is both intelligent and athletic. There have not been any issues with chewing shoes or furniture, but if he sees a toy, he will assume it is his to chew. Nugget will have an occasional accident in the house so please watch him and take him out on a regular basis. He has done well with a toddler in the foster home, but one must be careful about Nugget’s mouth when playing.
Nugget would love to be in a home with an active family. He needs a family that is available to play with and exercise him. He would be a good candidate for someone that is looking to participate in agility events or other dog activities.
