Ivy and Daisy are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
Hi! My name is Ivy. I am an "honorary cocker" who came into RMCR with my best friend and sister, Daisy Duke, the day after Christmas. We were SO sad and scared to leave our daddy. But, he just was not able to take care of us any more.
When I arrived at my foster home, I REALLY felt crummy. My teeth and mouth really, really hurt. I was still eating okay. But, it wasn't very fun. Even my feet hurt because my nails were so long. But the wonderful people at RMCR worked on getting me all cleaned up and more comfortable. Then, they took me to the vet and he fixed my painful mouth. I lost all my teeth, but that didn't slow me down. I am still a really good eater. I have lost 1 pound since being in my foster home. Now I am just right! The vet also made sure I can't have any more babies. So, now I am living' happy and carefree.
Now that I am feeling better and not so sad, I like to zoom down the hall as fast as I can, especially when I come in from outside. Hey, a girl's gotta warm up somehow. I have my foster grandma wrapped around my little paw. I make sure she picks me up to snuggle and lets me sit on her lap at least once per day. She always has a special hello for the littlest dog in the house. She always makes me smile and wiggle. My favorite thing in the whole world is to snuggle up with Daisy. We both like to sleep warm and snuggly, together under the blankies. I like to burrow, so my whole body is under the covers. Daisy is weird and likes to have her head stick out. When the sun is out, I like to recharge my solar batteries with a nap in the sun. I also make sure to be at the dinner table for cleanup duty, just in case something gets dropped.
Daisy and I would love a quiet home where we can be together and get lots of love and attention. Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I hope I get to meet you soon.
