On intake we were told that Tucker is the first to bark at sounds, he enjoys lounging on the couch or bed and prefers to be where the people are. He will wait patiently for you to leave your food around so he can snatch it. He loves balls and bones but can be possessive. He enjoys leashed walks and car rides. He does have some separation anxiety and likes to eat his dog food while someone is in the room with him.
In Tucker's foster home it has been learned that he is great with people and kids. Tucker is leash reactive with dogs and men, otherwise good on a walk. He is kennel and housetrained and knows some basic commands. He will resource guards his toys so perhaps a home without another dog would be best. He might not be great with other dogs in general. He eats once a day only at night, if you stand with him and it’s wet down. Please keep your trash cans out of sight and doggie reach or Tucker will happily get into them.
This little cutie is looking for just the right fit. He will do best in a home with older kids and a family that is home a good bit.
