Tony is a friendly, playful boy that has become the velcro spaniel that loves people. He is working on his basic skills to include housetraining. Tony likes dogs, cats, and birds and will ignore any that aren't in his personal space. Consider him a 3 year old puppy since he really had no attention and was kept tied up to a doghouse in the owner's backyard. He will need a strong owner to continue to work with him on his new found life. He has potty training in the grassy run down, but when he is in the house, he needs a belly band and attention (or a doggie door). He was very anxious when he arrived, pacing non stop. Now it still shows a bit - he does well with activities and play to reduce his pacing. He's a smart boy who needs his energy channeled, loves to hike and take walks and enjoys all kinds of play now. He shows zero signs of aggression with food, toys, his body or personal space. Tony ignores other animals unless they are in his personal space, then his invasive smelling becomes a problem.
