Just look at this precious freckle face and open your heart to Snickers! He is a very sweet and lovable, high-energy pup. He is very curious about new things, gets distracted easily, especially with "sounds", and very cautious at the same time. He likes to be around people all the time and will lay close by when you're doing something at a desk or on the computer. He wants lots of love! Snickers is good with adults but cautious of strangers. He will also need a patient groomer because grooming is rather new to him. Snickers loves to play and be outdoors so please give him a fenced yard, which will also help with his current house-training. He is doing okay potty training, however; still has accidents and some marking indoors. He likes going outside to play and to potty but doesn't always potty. He will lay down during the day or in the evening if everything is quiet, without any distractions. He is crate trained but doesn't voluntarily go into the crate without snacks or by the leash, and will cry and hit at the door, but settles down at nighttime. He understands some commands, but still is a puppy who hasn't had someone to work and train him. He might growl and act up when you try to move him yourself from a situation.
Snickers wants to play with other dogs. Experience has told us that if he is going to be with another dog it should be another young dog, not a senior as he has tried to dominate the seniors. He has the potential of being a real love bug. If you are home a lot, perhaps have another young or middle-aged dog, and a fenced yard Snickers might be just the dog for your family.
