Saydee will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption.
Saydee was found as a stray. She is heart worm positive and is in the beginning states of heart worm treatment, then she will need to be spayed prior to adoption.
What can we say about Ms. Saydee? She is a beautiful girl with chasing balls and birds on her mind. You can see the hunting dog in her when a bird flies by. Saydee is a two year old English Spaniel who loves to be with her people. She is high energy and needs training to walk better on a leash. Foster mom has her attached to her so Saydee can walk. She communicates with her clan members and playmates by growls which at times gets her in trouble with them. She loves her walks and car rides.
Saydee is a special girl who needs to stay ABQ because of her heartworm treatment. She would be a foster till she finished her treatment. Of course she is supposed to be quiet and less active but that is not in Saydee's plans. I would recommend maybe another ball chasing pup similar in size . Her foster family does not know if she is ok with kids or cats; that would be a good meet and great to check it out.
