Sandy is a real sweetheart! She loves to go on walks when it is not raining and loves to
ride in the car. She is a cuddle bug in the evenings. Since Sandy has been in my home,
she has had many vet appointments (bloodwork, dental, spay and mammary mass
removals that were all benign). She gets along very well with our senior cat and loves to
mother our foster kittens! Sandy is feeling like a new dog. As she has begun to feel
better her personality is coming out! She does not like to go outside to potty when it rains.
Like most cockers she has ear infections which are being addressed by her vet. Sandy
prefers women over men, but is never aggressive with men.
Sandy’s history: She was found as a stray in a known dump area in Oklahoma. Her coat
was overgrown, matted, and full of burrs. She was in great need of veterinary care. She
has come a long way since being rescued and for probably the first time in her life has
found acceptance and companionship in her loving foster home. She will make a very
loving family dog.
