Ryder will remain in the Recovery Room until cleard for adoption.
Ryder has been shown and is a Champion. He is a very sweet and and just goes with the flow. Very mellow but active. Ryder is being rehomed due to his prior owner's health issues.
Ryder is a sweet 10-year-old boy. He spent most of his life in a crate, coming out just for potty breaks. He has been very curious and active around the house, then will crash for a long nap. We are working on house training; he has figured out dog doors but doesn't understand yet that he can take himself out to potty. Seems like he knows "Potty" and "Sit" but he is Hard of Hearing, so they are not reliable. He has had accidents but does well when you take him outside often. He seems to have allergies. He scratches a lot, but it is better with the steroid injection he has received.
Ryder is good in the car, and on a leash. He likes other small dogs, enjoys following the pack and running in the yard with them. He is crate trained and sleeps well in his crate but doesn't seek it out for naps This gentleman really deserves a loving home with a family who will give him the love and attention he wants.
