Rocky is the most loving pup, full of snuggles and love. He literally melts to the ground when you go to pet him. He absolutely loves being close to humans. He is potty and crate trained. He still has plenty of puppy energy and is mischievous, always exploring his surroundings. He does get into chewing sometimes but is good at being redirected to chew on a toy instead. He also loves sitting at the window and watching the neighborhood.
I have been fostering him since the end of May. Rocky was born completely blind in one eye and partially blind in the other. He arrived with glaucoma and a dislocated lens in his right eye. He had surgery in mid-December to have the eye removed. Don’t be scared though, this little guy doesn’t know the difference! He already did not have sight in that eye, and you’d never know it. He gets around great; you’d never know that he only has the use of his left eye.
Rocky would do best in a home with a fenced yard, with a family who are around often. He loves to play and be outside. He enjoys playing ball and likes kids. He is used to quiet, calm, and home with his people. He does well with kids and other dogs, I haven’t seen an ounce of aggression from him. He has done a stellar job on hikes, his longest being 6.5 miles.
