Rocky is very pleasant and loves a good pet. He weighs around 50 pounds and would do well with a dog door. The mailman and neighbors like him. Rocky wants to be with his person all the time, but will probably not do well with youngsters under age 10. His person’s job is to feed and pet him especially his back end. He wants to be a lap dog and on the couch with you. He is used to his foster leaving for work and waits patiently for her return. Rocky loves daily walks and hiking on the weekends and playing with tennis balls. Long walks are a plus for him. He will sit to put a leash on his collar, he is always very excited to go for a walk but settles down fast. He is good with all adults and dogs, he thinks he is the boss with dogs smaller than him. Rocky will do well with another dog his size. He can be high energy and knows that squirrels and cats are for chasing. He likes stuffed toys and extra-large bones. Presently, he uses a dog door for potty and playing outside. Rocky sleeps in the same room as his human; he either lies in his own bed or bunks with his person.
