River will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption. Her foster will adopt after spay.
River is a wonderful dog! The vet says she might be as young as two years old. Due to her high energy, she really needs a fenced yard. She is super sweet, very active and agile. We have been told that River was good with children, but she has not been exposed to children in foster care. River has been trained and will come when called. She is doggie door trained. She doesn’t seem to like the crate. River seems to like riding in the car, she will jump right in.

River’s history: River was dumped on a cold and rainy Christmas Eve night at a Wildlife Rehab Center in Missouri. She was found with another dog soaking wet, cuddled up and shivering. It’s been a tough start for her but she is on her way to a much better life.
