Rico will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption.
Rico was put into a shelter by owners who could no longer care for him. He is a friendly little dog looking for love. Rico is a six year old cocker mix love bug who wants to be where his people are. He lays on the floor right beside you. Cruising in the car, riding shotgun is the best thing ever (of course he needs the window down). He walks great on a leash and enjoys sniffing out the plants along the way. His foster mom just discovered he shakes hands and gives such a look of adoration. He gets along well with his doggie clan and will object if someone has his favorite ball. When mom says enough, everyone scatters. Ricco has a journey ahead of him because he is overweight. He has been to the vet and he is on a healthy weight diet. He was loved and fed well by his previous owner so began the task of losing weight. Ricco would do better with older kids. He is the best guy and deserves a loving home that will take an interest in playing, spending time with him and loving the guy he is.
