Pippa is getting adopted!
Pippa is very interested in her new world since coming into rescue. She is a Couch Potato with periodic active play. Pippa loves fetch! But does not like the ball taken from her. She loves to go on walks and then will snuggle up next to you on the couch closely, however, she does not like a lot of cuddling and petted, but will sit next to you all day. Pippa does not like being caressed or handled but does like being a close companion. She might give a nip warning when she is concerned about something. She tends to be on the feisty side and is very independent. She does well with corrections. Pippa can be funny at times when she howls to music and runs up and smashes her face against the TV when a dog appears in a commercial. She is still learning her new world and needs someone who will be observant of her “language”. Pippa will make a great close companion. Pippa would not be good for young children, but older kids would be ok.
Pippa’s History: She came to the rescue when her owner could no longer care for her. She was living in a senior housing complex so did not have a lot of socialization or freedom of fenced yard.
