Millie will remain in the Recovery Room until River M 25020 is cleared for adoption. She must be adopted with River M 25020.
Millie is still trying to find her way in her new world of foster care. Millie has had training and will come when called. She will jump into the car to go for a ride and stick her head out the window. She is dog door trained. She will jump on the bed or coach to be with her person. She is usually friendly and happy, good with adults. Millie wants to be the dominant dog. She should live in a home without dogs other than her friend River. We were told that Millie is sweet and affectionate, but she does not like her legs touched. It has been said that Millie listens when she feels like it – selective hearing.

Millie’s history: Millie is a Corgi- mix. River is a Cocker Spaniel. They were dumped together on a cold and rainy Christmas Eve at a Wildlife Rehab Center in Missouri. They were found soaking wet, cuddled up and shivering. Millie is very bonded to River. In the foster home here in Colorado there has been struggling between Millie and the foster’s own dog. We feel that it is best to move Millie and River to a home without other dogs, or with a larger dog, to give them a better chance of settling in.
