Adopter needs to be in the general Denver area to allow for a few visits to the home before adoption takes place. Clover will need time to get used to a new home.
Clover came to RMCR from a Mill Dog Rescue where living conditions do not allow for socialization or love. When Clover arrived she was so afraid of humans, not having any idea how to react when being approached or handled. The only thing that gave her any level of comfort was another dog. Slowly, over days and weeks in her foster home she has become accustomed to people being around and has really enjoyed following the other dogs around in the foster home. Clover is quiet, gentle, shy & insecure, yet tolerant and curious. She is very aware and focused. Cautious and apprehensive also fit her description. It is important for Clover to have another small dog or two in her forever home, and a FENCED YARD. She will need an adopter who is patient and willing to work with her insecurities.
