Mia came to the rescue after the traumatic death of one of her owners. Prior to coming to us, Mia had not received medical attention for awhile. She has had a dental and has been put on thyroid medication for her low thyroid level. She came to us weighing 42.5 pounds and is now down to 33 pounds. She still needs to lose a few more pounds but she is expected to get to a normal weight soon.
Mia is very sweet girl who that can be left in the house without bothering anything when her foster Mom is away from the house. She also figured out the dog door by watching another dog go through it once. Mia gets along with the other two dogs in her foster home and enjoys going outside with them. Mia gets excited when a squirrel comes to the backyard.
