Maple will remain in the Recovery Room until her vet evaluation.
Maple is a puppy mill survivor who has been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Cancer that affects the lymph nodes and lymphatic system which is responsible for fighting infection and keeping a healthy level of fluids throughout the body. She is also anemic. Maple will be examined by one of our wonderful veternarians on Nov. 3rd. We will know more about her condition soon.
At this time Maple is very insecure, confused and fearful of her wonderful and patient foster and new sourroundings She is going to be learning what gentle human touch is all about. Maple has never been on a leash.
