Lily is a 6-year old Cocker Spaniel. She was a scared little girl when she came into her fosters home. When she is fed she will wait until no one is near her food and will then eat. She hadn’t been around a lot of city noises so cars and trucks scare her, but she is getting more adjusted each day. She does like her walks but will normally walk behind her person. She likes sleeping in her crate, but when you sit on the couch she will approach and want to come up for a pet and a cuddle. She is getting more used to meeting new people each day, and she loves to play with the other dog in the home. She knows how to use the doggy door, but due to a UTI that she is now over with we are still working on getting her 100% house trained. She is slowly learning commands of sit, wait, come, etc. She is not big on playing with toys. She has not been tested around children but because of her skittishness it would probably be a good thing to not be around small children. She has not been tested with cats but the ones in the neighborhood she pretty much ignores. A home with another dog would be wonderful. She is still nervous while riding in a car but as each ride happens she gets better. She doesn’t like the windows down because of loud noises.
