Lady will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption. Her foster plans on adopting her once she has been medically cleared.
10-13-2025 UPDATE: Lady is doing better and is now eating on her own. She is enjoying companionship with her foster siblings and trips out to the famiy barn with her foster.
10/06/25 UPDATE: Lady is currently very ill with severe pneumonia. She started coughing a few days after she arrived and is now on a few medications. She has lost weight and her appetite. Today she had a bronchial lavage to obtain fluid from her lungs and take cultures so we know if she needs other medications to get her through this. Her fosters say that she is feeling a bit better and has begun to want to eat a little. Check back soon for updates.
Lady came from a local shelter. She loves any treats, sleeps on her dog bed. She loves car rides, walks well on a leash, is not kennel trained. Lady is house broken with no issues. She is afraid of fireworks and does not like taking bathes. If she is fearful, she will start shaking. She has lived with a couple children ages 2-3 and just ignored them. Lady is friendly with all animals but usually just ignores them.
