I’ll remain in the Recovery Room until I’m medically cleared for adoption.
Kendrick is an 11-month-old puppy mill survivor with a big personality and even bigger potential. He's never known structure or love until now—and while he's still figuring out how to be a dog in a home, he's making progress every day.
Kendrick is about 90% house trained, doing great as long as he can get outside in time. He knows how to sit, though he’s had very little formal training. Leash walking? A bit of a circus—he spins in happy, confused circles—but he's learning!
He’s a bull in a china shop with no concept of personal space and still struggles to read the room with other dogs. He’s shown some dominance and guarding behavior around his foster’s resident dogs, and is best suited as an only dog or in a very dog-savvy home with patient, structured introductions and clear boundaries.
Despite these challenges, Kendrick is incredibly smart, sweet, and eager to please. He’s a Velcro pup-in-training who wants to bond closely with his person—and with time, guidance, and consistency, he will become a loyal and loving companion.
