Jake is a cute little loveable pup! We are are not realy susre of his breed. He is posted as a Cocker -mix. Could be part terrier. Jake was put into a shelter, reason unknown. He has lived most of his life outdoors. Jake is fine with everyone just a little scared of people and needs time to warm up. He will let someone pick him up with no snapping.
From Jake: Hi! My name is Jake aka Jakey. For some reason I like Jakey better. I am a shy, lovable guy looking for love and cuddles with someone who likes sweet guys. I like car rides and walks, especially with my favorite person. My foster mom thinks I spent alot of time outside with my previous people. Needless to say, I love my spot on the couch on a cozy blanket. I do ask permission before I settle in. I am still learning my way around things so patience is needed to help me feel at home. The rescue talks about the 3-3-3 rule which means I need time to unpack my bags and feel safe. I am not much of a barker but will let you know if someone enters our little kingdom. A dog door is necessary as I like to sail in and out on my own. Sometimes I can be sneaky if someone forgets to watch for my signals that I need outside but this is very rare. I will need training in manners as no one bothered to help me with this. Sit what is that? I get along with my foster pup clan but would prefer another laid back pup to live with. I dont know about cats but I am sure I will respect their space. Hope to be home for Christmas so we can love and enjoy our life together.
