Hunter is a sweet, resilient Cocker Spaniel whose world changed when his beloved owner passed away. Thanks to caring neighbors who kept him safe until help arrived, Hunter eventually made his way to Rocky Mountain Cocker Rescue's Kansas Branch foster program. Once he arrived he quickly charmed EVERYONE he met! After getting all his medical care updated, this little gentleman blossomed in a classic "velcro" dog, following his foster mom everywhere with complete devotion. With IMPECCABLE house manners, excellent house training, and a gentle spirit, Hunter is the very definition of an easy companion. Our veterinarian estimates him to be about 10 years of age based on his health, exam results and conformation. While he does have some cloudiness in his eyes, testing shows they are staying healthy and comfortable without the need for daily medication at this time.
Hunter adores people, greets other dogs with friendly curiosity, and enjoys the company of children. Although, as always, supervised introductions are always recommended with kiddos. He is a CHAMPION SNUGGLER, a steady presence, and a joyful little soul who loves being close to his humans. This wonderful boy has so much love to give and is ready to find his forever home where he can continue to be a cherished family member.
