Talk to me, Goose. Unlike the movie “Top Gun”, this Goose is one of the most laid-back dogs I’ve ever met. Goose is mellow, easygoing, and happiest when he’s near his people. He’s a world-class cuddler and loves nothing more than curling up beside you after a walk or a good chew session with his favorite toys. Whether it's soaking up the sun in the backyard or trotting along on a relaxed stroll, Goose is just happy to be part of the moment. He’s friendly with everyone he meets. He has a little bit of separation anxiety, but it has improved the longer he has stayed with us. Goose also likes counter surfing, which is something that can be improved with training. He is gentle, friendly, happy, playful and can also be a couch potato. I wouldn’t call him a high energy dog, but he does have bursts of playfulness. Goose is very smart and seems willing to learn new skills/tricks. Basic training, he knows sit and paw, Goose does not like the crate!
Goose fits in easily wherever he goes and brings peaceful energy with him. His prior owner said he did well with kids and cats, but he has not been exposed to them in his foster home. Goose does have a playful side and it’s been awesome seeing him slowly coming out of his shell. Goose surely knows how to have his fun before settling right back into relaxation mode. I think any individual/family would be lucky to have Goose! A fenced yard and a dog companion would be great for Goose!
