Gio will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption. He is being evaluated and treated for a heart murmur and poor dental conditions.
Gio can be shy but is very sweet. He went into a shelter as a stray.Owners were found but they then surrendered to the shelter. Gio can be shy around new people but warms up quickly with patience. He does have experience living with dogs. In the foster home however he is not doing well with the other younger dogs. Perhaps beause he does not feel well due to his teeth and heart condition, and low energy. He is a very sweet little Cavalier who really wants to be loved and would do well in a home with older dogs.
More to come on Gio as we work through his overall health condition. Please consider donating toward Gio's vet care. See the donate button below.
