Gio will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption. He is being evaluated and treated for a heart murmur and poor dental conditions.
Mr. Gio is the definition of a velcro dog. He has such a kind soul and clearly wants to be spoiled and loved. He loves his fosters and always wants to be snuggled up next to them. Due to this he isn't the best at sharing cuddles or food. Gio has a heart murmur which is managed by medication. He likes short walks; he should not walk a long way. He sleeps in his crate, but his ideal paw-parent would sleep with him every night and tuck him under the blankets. Gio does a little territory marking but has had only a handful of accidents. He should be walked outside in the yard with encouragement to go potty.
Gio’s favorite pastimes include chasing squirrels, burrowing under blankets and having his belly and chin rubbed. Gio is very much the typical spunky, but incredibly loving Cavalier. Any home would be lucky to have him.
