Ginger came into rescue from a local shelter; she was put there by her prior owner. She has done well in foster care living in an adult home with other foster dogs. She gets along with the other dogs unless they try to get her food or treats which cause her to become protective and will lunge at them. Ginger loves to be with her humans and seeks attention frequently. She loves to go for walks and is good on the leash. She looks at me lovingly with her beautiful brown eyes as if she is seeking approval for what she is doing or with expectation of what might be coming next. Ginger might do best in a home without other dogs. Or, she could be managed with other dogs as long as her adopter is aware of her tendency to be protective. She will occasionally bark or howl if she is not with her family but that seems to be easily corrected. For this reason a home rather than an apartment might be best for Ginger.
