Gentry will soon be adopted by his foster!
Gentry is a sweet boy that was one of our recent mill dog rescues. He is settling into his foster home and trying to figure out the new routines. He is playful, loves belly rubs, eating and drinking.

Gentry is such a sweet and curious boy who is slowly learning what it means to be a dog. He is very gentle, friendly, and resilient, warming up quickly to anyone he realizes he is safe with. He warms up quickly once he realizes he is safe. He is very food motivated and loves soft treats, training, and chewing on crinkle toys. He has just started going on short walks and loves smelling all the new smells and meeting new dogs along the way. He appears to be mostly house trained and will spend many hours sitting with us on the couch, sleeping, cuddling, or asking for belly rubs. He is somewhat reserved around new people and startles easily but recovers quickly. Gentry is somewhat happy in his crate once settled if the gate is open but does not like when the gate is initially closed / latched. He sleeps in his crate.
We think Gentry will thrive in a calm home environment, with or without another dog, and people who are home often, at least as he gets comfortable with you.
