Gain is one of the recent mill dog rescues. He arrived afraid of most things and sounds but is learning that not everything is bad or will hurt him. He is getting braver and starting to explore, learning to play and what zoomies are. He is really the smartest boy! He is slowly learning some basic training like walking on the leash, sit, and stay. He had a cherry eye on both eyes which were removed prior to rescue intake. Both eyes are doing well. He will need tear test annually moving forward.
2-week update:
Gain is still progressing and learning new things every day. Every day he is getting a little braver, which more exploration ensues. He absolutely loves to run now especially charging me and swooshing by last minute. So cute. Potty training has become up and down. We did great the first week. Now we seem to have a good day followed by a day with many accidents but I'm staying diligent.
