Emory was surrendered to us by a person who took him from a family member. That family member was having health issues and was no longer able to care for the dog. According to the person who surrendered him, he was kept outside most of the time and would be kicked or hit if he cried in his kennel. Emory is 3 years old. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Emory is a sweet boy that loves people. He gets along with the two cockers in his foster home and uses a dog door. Cats are an unknown. Emory has some separation anxiety so needs a home with another dog. Emory cries when his foster Mom leaves the house, but he is not destructive. This cocker is active, loves walks, and going somewhere in the car. Emory's foster Mom is working on getting Emory to stop stealing treats from the other two dogs he lives with, and to learn what STAY means so he does not to escape through the front door when his foster Mom is leaving or coming home.
Emory is an active and affectionate cocker with beautiful golden (or hazel) colored eyes.
