Dolly is a sweet dog who would do best with a female human. She has lived with kids but does not actively participate with them. She has lived with another dog but doesn't play with the other dog. She is affectionate when she wants to be but often will sit on the other side of the couch from you or in a hiding place (under the bed or on a blanket/dog bed in a corner). She was definitely abused in a previous home and will duck from touch as if you are going to hit her, and when letting her outside you'll need to open the door and step away from the door. She has liked playing in the snow and doesn't mind the rain.
