Angie came to rescue in such poor shape, having been neglected for some time. She is doing very well now even though she is 15 years old! She has come a long way since her intake. Angie is very chill and sleeps a lot. She likes to be in the room with you and will nuzzle you for pets and scratches. She is also independent and will wonder the house and find places to sleep. She needs three separate eye drops in the morning and evening, as well as one at noon. She tolerates these well and does not struggle against you. She takes a few supplements with her morning food, and one pill morning and evening via food, cheese, treat, etc. Angie has been completely friendly (and kind of indifferent) to our 3-year-old cocker who has lots of energy. She has had a few accidents, but 3-4 well timed potty breaks through the day keep those accidents at bay. She struggles going up the stairs and has almost fallen a few times, so we carry her up and down. We also keep a baby gate at the top and bottom of the stairs, so she does not try going on her own, and to keep her from falling as she is nearly blind and thinks she is more capable than she is.
Angie would love a forever home to spend the rest of life. She is a remarkable senior!
