Applications Closed. Daisy is getting adopted by her foster!
Daisy is a loving, affectionate, three-year-old Cocker Spaniel/Beagle mix. She loves to chase squirrels and rabbits--and sometimes cats. She adores people, including children, and loves going for rides in the car with her head out the window (harnessed in, of course). She loves the dog park and has been socialized at daycare and boarding. She likes pup cups and treats, and can't get enough belly rubs. Daisy is a bit jealous, however, and will act out if she thinks other dogs are getting more attention. She suffers from separation anxiety. She spent the first year of her life on a covered back deck with little human interaction. Daisy does fine at a commercial daycare and boarding and at the dog park. But in a small in-home daycare, she has had behavior issues of lashing out at other dogs. Also, when on a leash and when another dog approaches, she lunges and snaps, growls and when she cannot get to her target, she turns on the next thing closest to her whether it is her owner's leg, or her littermate walking beside her.
