ADOPTION PENDING.
Hello, my name is Chrissy. Despite coming from a puppy mill, I am as loving and kind as can be. There is not one angry bone in my body. I am around 25 lbs. I am very timid and can be spooked easily. I’ve come a very long way and adjusted to many sounds, but still get scared by sudden movements and loud sounds. I would do best in a home with older children as the quick movements of young ones will frighten me. I do observe that other dogs are happy around humans and am slowly learning to be happy too. I will need one or two other dogs in the home .I have no experience with cats. I have not been out on a leash yet as I was just recently vaccinated. I am looking for a home that will love me and have patience as I continue to build trust and confidence. I am already making huge strides but it will take time as I adjust to a new home and continue to learn about life in a loving home. I do get car sick and not sure if I will outgrow that. I will follow you around, sit at your feet while you work, snuggle next to you on the couch, and would prefer to sleep next to you too, but I am currently learning to sleep in a crate. I am fairly consistent on house training but will probably need some help when I adjust to a new home. I am as cute as can be with a beautiful coat and freckled nose. I enjoy having my ears and nose rubbed. I am quiet but will bark to be let back inside. I need a fenced yard so I have a secure place to go. I like to carry around small stuffed animals and I like to chew toys. While my life before RMCR was quite rough, I am resilient and ready to move on to become the queen I was meant to be. If you allow me some time to adjust and observe, I will be completely devoted to you and we’ll enjoy many loving days together.
