Buster is such a sweet and gentle fellow. An expert snuggler too! He is friendly and loves attention. He loves all people and dogs. He likes to stay close and loves long belly rubs. He sleeps in my bed and is wonderfully playful and snuggly in the morning.
We have learned that Buster has an abnormality in his right eye that is most likely due to a congenital flaw, present since birth. The iris (colored part of the eye that surrounds the pupil) has
an abnormal shape. Additionally, the muscle that controls the iris is likely underdeveloped which might cause him to be sensitive to bright light. Eye drops could be prescribed to see if that would help his pupils to constrict and therefore decrease his sensitivity to light.
It has been a true pleasure sharing a home with Buter and watching him thrive. He comes from living the country life. We are not sure if he is a Cockapoo or a Cocker Spaniel- mix. His prior owner said that he is a Cockapoo. Our Vet noted Cocker Spaniel on his records. The prior owner also said that Buster is smart and can detect the mood of people. He now loves indoor living! He is doing great with house training and walking on a leash. Buster loves walking around the neighborhood on leash walks and greeting new friends, both two and four legged. He enjoys the company of other dogs so it would be wonderful for him to have a canine companion and a fenced yard.
