Buddy is a VERY special boy who just loves his walks, frolicking/rolling in the grass and playing with all his squeaky toys. He is a small Cocker, currently about 16 pounds. He is excited to meet new dogs and humans and gets along famously with everyone! Although he has never met a cat, we think he’d do just fine around one (or two). While gregarious and fun, he is also extremely well behaved and obedient. He is happy to curl up in his kennel or cuddle with his humans and he is making great strides with potty training.
While learning all about the world from scratch, he has been so brave and patient, but is still learning that yard signs, flapping flags, big light posts, and other worldly things will not hurt him, so he will continue to need time and patience as he learns. Becoming more comfortable with the world around him will really help him advance in his leash and potty-training skills. He is an eager and fast learner when it comes to leashes and walks!
Buddy is one of the several Mill Dogs we rescued this summer. He loves his new life! He is so loving and patient despite a rocky start to life and is enjoying his new life of freedom to be a dog. He will make one lucky family a loving and loyal companion.
