Buddy is Available and must be adopted with his companion Campbell H.
Buddy is sweet dog that has lived with kids (unknown ages) and lots of other dogs. His owner passed away. He seeks attention from new people and loves to hang out with his clan of dog pals. Buddy can be a little shy and needs someone to go slower with him. He is bonded to Campbell H and they must be adopted together.
Buddy is a very cute, sweet, boy. He responds to his name, the “come” command and “go outside”. He did not seem to know how to do steps when he first came to our house, but now goes up and needs to just be started going downstairs and he will go down by himself. Buddy is much improved in his house training. We currently let him outside every 3 hours during the day. He likes to hide under the bed. We have him sleeping in a kennel/crate at night. He sleeps about 10 hours at night and often during the day. He has not been around big dogs at our house. He walks away from our toddler. He does seem to have some arthritis. He will bark if the other dog in our house barks.
Update from Buddy's Foster Mom: – I am very shy, but I have made so much progress in my foster home. I did not know how to use the steps, but now I go up and down without any problem. I prefer to eat in a small room by myself and sometimes need to be encouraged more than once in the morning to eat. I have some arthritis, but it seems to not bother me much. I love to go out on walks! I am only 10 pounds, but I can be a little feisty when meeting new dogs, even big ones! I love treats and my favorite places to sleep are on the couch or under the bed. I will bark and let you know when I want to go outside or when I want a treat. I have been well-behaved
around a toddler. My companion is been Campbell.
